We have flags from all the provinces in Canada, as well as the traditional “maple leaf” flag that represents the country as a whole. Canada is the second largest country in the world by area, though it is a bit lower on the list in terms of population. Most people are very familiar with the “maple leaf” flag, which is the National Flag of Canada. Each province and territory within the country has its own flag however, much like the various states in the US have a unique flag. Before the current flag came into use, the national flag had incorporated the Union Jack (known in Canada as the Royal Union Flag). You can still find it is prevelant in many of the provincial Canadian flags.
