NATO stands for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.  It is military alliance that came into existence after World War II ended.  It consists of numerous countries that have agreed to mutually defend one another should they be attacked by an external party.  At its origin, NATO was essentially a political organization.  After the Korean War however, this all began to change.  It would then integrate military structure and began to increase in size.  It’s still expanding to this day, as countries such as Albania and Croatia have joined NATO as recently as 2009.  Find the NATO flag right here at a great price.  Call us if you can’t find a size you’re looking for!
